A quote in about fifteen minutes
Once you are set up and running, a customer who messages an order can expect a checked, priced quote back in roughly fifteen minutes — not the following morning, and not whenever somebody at the counter gets a moment.
Thirty to forty-five minutes end to end
From the first message to a confirmed, fulfilled order is usually thirty to forty-five minutes, depending on how heavy the order pressure is at the time. Busy evening, slower; quiet afternoon, quicker.

My staff already take orders on WhatsApp. Why do I need this?
Because of what they cannot see while they are doing it. Answering by hand means no live stock position, no current price, no prescription check built into the process, and no record if a customer later disputes what was ordered. The messages are the same; what surrounds them is not.
Do customers need to install an app?
No. Customers simply message your pharmacy on WhatsApp — by typing a list, sending a photo of the strip or prescription, or a voice note. There is nothing for them to download.
Is it safe for prescription (Schedule H) medicines?
Yes. Restricted medicines such as Schedule H and H1 require a valid prescription and a licensed pharmacist's approval before any quote is sent. Nothing is sold until your pharmacist approves it.
Does it use my live stock and prices?
Yes. Each item is checked against your live SwilERP stock and current price at the moment the pharmacist prepares the quote, and out-of-stock items get same-composition substitute suggestions for the pharmacist to approve.
Which WhatsApp number is used?
Your own WhatsApp Business number, running on the official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — not a personal number and not an unofficial tool.
Is my customers' data protected?
Yes. Messages are exchanged only between your pharmacy and your own customers who have messaged you first, and every message, edit, approval and quote is recorded in a tamper-proof audit log.
Does it work with my SwilERP?
Yes. Order Desk reads catalogue, stock and price live from SwilERP (read-only — it never changes your ERP data). As a SWIL Authorized Platinum Partner, we set up the connection for you.
Do you cover my area outside Kolkata?
Yes. Beyond Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly we have dealers stationed across the whole of Midnapore including Egra and Contai, plus Berhampore, Purulia, Bankura, Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar and the rest of West Bengal. Setting up Order Desk is largely done remotely once your SwilERP is connected, so distance matters less here than it does for a counter installation.
